Parenting Exam will be on Thursday, January 22nd, 2009 at 9 am.  Please come prepared with materials, as stated in class.

Cold Cous Cous Salad

2c. cous cous

½ c. olive oil

2c. water (room temp.)

2c. orange juice (or apple juice)

1 lemon juiced

tomato

red onion thinly sliced or chopped

cucumber chopped

basil

salt and pepper

Place all liquids in a large bowl, add the chopped ingredients. Add the cous cous and mix well. Let it sit for at least 45min, mixing occasionally so that the cous cous absorbs the liquid. Serves well after sitting over night in the fridge.  (Adapted from Eating Well Looks Good On You DVD)

Hello Everyone,

Due to the cold weather days, we will have to reorganize our practical exam schedule.  The plan is to have three groups doing their luncheons on the same day, and each group will have to do their own dishes.  Sorry, if you have other suggestions let me know! I will post the new schedule tomorrow.
